Fringe on the Fringe 2009 - a great success!

For the second year running The Centre Livingston was Venue 81 of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. With two free shows daily targeting aged 2 to 12 year olds there was fun for the whole family, here’s some of the feedback from the event.

11:00 am Alice in Wonderland

A well-loved family favourite. Join Alice on her musical adventure as she encounters the famous White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, Mock Turtle and the Queen of Hearts.

03:30 pm Shakespeare for Breakfast

The Bardic Breakfasters are back! C's Shakespearean sensation return to The Centre with ‘A Midsummer Night‘s Scream’. Brilliant fun for kids and their parents alike.

Colouring in


Join our colouring in competition by downloading these fun pictures or drawing your own and taking them to the show with you. A winner will be displayed at The Centre and on the website for the best Sinbad the Sailor, Pirate Jack and Felicity the Fairy.

Ticket Information

70 tickets per show!

All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Free tickets! Get them on the performance day from 10am.

Collect wristbands daily from the customer services desk at The Centre.

Whilst tickets are free, your donations to Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) are welcomed.

  1. Wristbands are only available on the day of each performance from The Customer Services Desk at The Centre from 10am. They may not be ordered in advance for future performances.
  2. 1 x Wristband per person is required for entry into the marquee. Wristbands are available each day until all 70 have been distributed for each performance.
  3. Fringe on the Fringe is a free event, but donations to CHAS are actively encourage.
  4. By submitted your details online, you are agreeing to The Centre keeping you informed of any other up and coming events and promotions at The Centre, Livingston.
  5. Land Securities reserve the right to terminate or suspend the event at any time.
